Fun With Family

We went AF Canyon to play with the ATV's and a jeep that Travis borrowed from his friend Clint. We had a great time. We went to up a really fun trail to a place called Forest Lake. It was a very rocky and semi steep climb but well worth it at the end of the trail. The canyon was beautiful and the weather was perfect. The kids had a great time playing with their cousins. Everyone was exhausted and dirty when we left the canyon.

This is the Jeep crew!
Crossing the creek to get to the trail head. This is Megan, Amada, and me. I love riding through water.

Jake's Blessing

Today we had Jake's blessing. My brother and sister were in town from Australia and Minnesota with their families. We waited for them to come to bless Jake. Bill gave Jake a very wonderful blessing. I was lucky enough to be able to bare my testimony even though it wasn't fast Sunday. We went to my mom's after for a brunch. It was so nice to have all of my family here and most of Bill's family. We feel so blessed to have Jake in our family. He has been such a source of joy to our family. Jake looked so cute in his little outfit. It was a six month outfit and it just barely fit him. The snaps kept popping because he is so chubby. What a cute little smiley boy. We love you Jake.

Finally It Has Arrived

At long last Rylee's grave marker has come in. It was so hard for us to choose the headstone. We went to the mortuary several times over the past year to try to figure out what we wanted. We would always end up overwhelmed and frustrated. For several months we would talk about what we wanted to do and we looked at many different headstones at several cemetaries. In January we had a plan for what we wanted to do. We had made a mold of Rylee's hand and foot print about a year before she died and we wanted to have this mold be used. We had hoped to have it in before Memorial Day, but it didn't quite make it. It was a very difficult task to choose the headstone, because we wanted it to be special, it is the last reminder we have of Rylee. She was so special and everything we have done for her was a token of our love for her. We are very happy with the way it turned out. It will make our visits to her grave a little more special. We love and miss you baby girl.

Baby Elly Ahna

Stacey and Matt had their baby last week. She is so small and darling. Grandma Hendricks came to stay and help Stacey. We always love it when Grandma comes. Talmage and Brynn spent the night at our house when Stacey was having the baby. We love to have them at our house. We love you baby Elly.
